The town is very large but it has only 32.000 inhabitants. Gubbio has got lots of ancient churches, palaces, monuments and buildings. The families take care of their children and generally participate to their school life; most of them belong to the middle class. The economical crisis is involving even our families but till now the problems seem to be quite limited. There are some immigrants from Albany, East Europe, South America, China and North Africa. Not all of them are well integrated but the volunteer associations and the teachers at school work hard to support and improve their integration.
