-We went to Veliko Tarnovo, in
Bulgaria, from the 23rd to the 27th of April 2018. It has been a great
experience for us because we did a lot of things. When we arrived at Bulgaria, we
discovered lots of beautiful places in Sofia. We saw the Sofia statue.
We met students and teachers from the Erasmus+
project who came from different countries. (Mr. Adrover Nadal Jaume).
-As
teachers we feel that we have an even better relationship with the students
since the trip and have a closer bond with them. I feel that the students know
us better now.
Overall,
we believe this experience has broadened our cultural horizons and personally
as teachers, we feel that it has been very rewarding for ourselves; there is a
lot of work and effort that has gone into taking part in this programme and we
came to the conclusion that the students have learnt a lot from this Erasmus
programme by all the teachers (Mrs. Maria Maria Oroz Galmés)

IMPRESSION OF GREEK STUDENTS from 9 PRIMARY
SCHOOL OF MYTILINI from LESVOS,
GREECE
Our young students were very happy by the warm welcome
they received when we arrived at the school in Veliko Tarnovo. Following an old
custom the students and teachers were waiting for us holding a traditional
round bread and salt. We all cut a part of the bread and had it with spiced
salt symbolizing our welcome to the country and the school.
Later on, we all visited various classrooms and took
part in the ongoing lessons which gave us the opportunity to compare text books
and lessons to our own.
Sharing lunch in the school canteen has also been a
new experience for our students since the lunch system at school is quite
different in Greece.
On another occasion, the students shared the material
they had prepared with the students from the other schools in the exchange and
had the opportunity to show to the partners their traditional music and dances.
Finally, they were amazed at the wealth of traditional
food prepared for them the day before departure which gave them one more chance
to “taste” the culture of the hosting country. They also said that they really
enjoyed meeting the other students and practicing in English as well as using
the Bulgarian words and phrases they have learnt before the visit . Getting to
know the Cyrillic alphabet was also exciting as they were able to compare it to
the Greek writing.
